    Latest iPhone News

The smart phone market is blowing up with many various new advances in technology. Apple is a huge competitor with their smart phone the iPhone. Currently, they are selling the iPhone 4 to many individuals nationwide. However, their new release of the iPhone 5 is expected early in September of 2011.

The advanced iPhone 5 (or rather the iPhone 4S) will feature 32G to 64G of storage space for applications and various data. The A5 dual core processor will be the central processing unit. It will also feature face recognition as a security application, an 8MP camera and will be the thinnest iPhone ever. It is expected to have a refined look as well as high performance associated with being on a 4G network. Thus, video chat is expected to be very efficient.

The iPhone 5 will have up to 14 hours of talk time on the 3G and 7 hours on the 4G. The screen will be 4” compared to previous iPhone 4 which was 3.5”. This will not make the phone any larger because it will feature an etched edge. Screen resolution is expected to improve as well. It will also feature near field communications (NFC) which will enable users to pay their bills on their new iPhones.

Other likely improvements include a mini HDMI output, enhanced voice control, 1GB RAM and it will sport the same price tag as previous models, $299.99 with a two year contract. Samsung is coming out with a dual core 1.4 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM called the Galaxy S2 to compete with the new iPhone.

The iOS 5 operating system has many improvements over the previous version of the operating system. The notification center is a huge improvement as well as system-level Twitter integration. The mail has also been improved with rich text editing and you can finally flag messages in iOS’ Mail app. PC-free setup is a very welcomed improvement to the operating system as it negates the use of wired syncing for data transfer.

Apple makes significant improvements on its camera feature. Autoexposure and Autofocus lock on the photo object. The iCloud features an amazing media and document storage center which can be used to share pictures as well with your other iOS 5 devices. Also, users will be able to add, rename and delete calendars directly from the new iPhone.

The Safari browser has been improved to include one-touch tabbed web pages and a reading list which allows you to save articles for reading later. It’s like a bookmark except that it only saves text and images.

Avid fans of the smart phone eagerly await the release of the new iPhone. Verizon’s 4G LTE network offers blazing fast speeds for gamers, streamlined video conferencing, and downloads. While many choose to buy direct from the carrier retailer for the discounted price, others may prefer to buy an unlocked iPhone from a reseller. Either way, the new iPhone is sure to please.
